Mary Judd is the Co-Founder of SongwritingWith:Soldiers, an innovative program that uses songwriting as a catalyst to build creativity, connections, and strengths. Specializing in positive communications and program development Mary’s client list includes MentorCoach; The VIA Institute; The HAPPY Movie; NYS Dept. of Economic Development (I LOVE NY); Discovery Retreats; The Mayerson Academy, American Farmland Trust, several public and private schools, and many others seeking positive change and growth. Mary has worked with several Positive Psychology researchers and was invited to serve as a discussion facilitator for the 2012 United Nations High Level Meeting on Happiness & Well-being. A consultant for India Association of Health Research and Welfare, Mary serves on the Editorial Board of the PsyInsight Magazine and was asked to write a foreword for Positive Psychology: In Light of Indian Tradition. A sought-after collaborator, Mary wrote The Canyons of Gateway with John Hendricks, founder of the Discovery Channel and helped launch Uganda’s Physique magazine. Along with SongwritingWith:Soldiers, she is especially proud of creating The Barn School, an award-winning sustainable agriculture camp for children. “Sparking positive connections and action is my passion!”
